After far too long not being at the Maasplassen, I was able to spend a full day with Frank again on Friday. It was searching, scraping, grinding and fiddling, but we were nicely rewarded. After three minuscule and fruitless bites, a number of them actually remained. Because of the sudden drop in temperature, the twitchbait seemed less likely to me, so we mainly focused on the C and Ned rig. And that was how we ended up catching two nice perch, a zander and pike. Ice cold, windy, raining, but above all satisfied we ended the day. The good life!
